According to a current analysis by fDi Intelligence, an organisation belonging to the Financial Times Group in London and operator of the world’s largest foreign investment analysis centre, Frankfurt (Oder) ranks first for investors and businesses in Germany when it comes to cost-efficiency. This comparative ranking looked at basic criteria such as moderate wage levels, low rents for office space and commercial and industrial real estate as well as cheap costs for overnight stays in city centre hotels.
In addition to that, Frankfurt scores for potential investors due to its having the highest investment reimbursement rates in Germany and its ability to be used as a German-Polish dual location in order to simultaneously gain access to two of Europe’s largest markets. As well as the advantageous logistics location and the availability of a multi-lingual pool of experts, local company operators value the outstanding infrastructure available within its industrial parks at competitive prices – particularly compared to Berlin.
