The Leibniz Institute IHP – Innovations for High Performance Microelectronics in Frankfurt (Oder) was awarded for its apprenticeships. At present 17 young persons are training at the research centre, both in the commercial and the technical sectors. IHP also offers numerous options for further training and qualifications such as “Mobile apprentice” or “Apprentice meets science”.
When it comes to training the young though, IHP starts with the tiniest, and is running collaborations with local kindergartens in Frankfurt (Oder) with the goal of stimulating enthusiasm for the natural sciences.
