In recent years the Trans-European Transport Corridor North Sea-Baltic has developed into an important driving force of cross-border business. Political changes, trans-national supply chains and increasingly globalised trade lead to a steadily growing transport volume along this axis.
New, partly global infrastructure projects – such as “Rail Baltica” or “The New Silk Road” – are trying to meet the challenges and to improve the framework conditions for an efficient, sustainable and consistent intermodal transport on this East-West axis.
Under the auspices of the Minister for Infrastructure and Spatial Planning of the Land Brandenburg, Kathrin Schneider, on May 30th 2018 the expert “InterLog 2018 – Intermodal Logistics between East & West” will take place in Frankfurt (Oder).
Organised in co-operation of the Investor Center Ostbrandenburg and LogisticNetwork Consultants experts from politics and business side are going to examine the latest trends and developments regarding cooperation along the NSB corridor.
The event is addressed especially to logisticians, intermodal players, freight villages and producers being active along the East-West corridor, as well as to stakeholders from regional, national or EU administrations.
