Tom Hanks and the “Iron Hut City”

Tom Hanks reports on U.S. television with David Letterman on his visit to Eisenhuettenstadt and his experiences on the German motorways. The American film star visited the city in December 2011, during the filming of his movie “Cloud Atlas” in Berlin. Afterwards he significantly influenced the English translation of the city name to “Iron Hut City” or “Iron-Work -City”.
