UniCaps GmbH, as a pioneer and one of the leading companies for sustainable coffee and tea capsules in Germany, has created a privileged partner with the spin-off of Inovias GmbH in order to be able to advance the further development of environmentally friendly packaging products and technologies. Brandenburg Capital from Potsdam, a subsidiary of the Brandenburger Förderbank ILB and other co-investors are taking a seven-figure stake in the company.
With the compost capsule it developed, Inovias offers a sustainable alternative to the aluminum capsules of established suppliers. In addition, Inovias and their partner companies have the innovation potential to open up new areas of application for capsule products and other packaging solutions with sustainable packaging materials. As a result, Inovias, as a forward-looking packaging specialist, will also be able to significantly expand the economic perspectives of UniCaps.
