Frankfurt (Oder), January 17th 2019:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using the project title \u201cLogPlaza Frankfurt (Oder)\u201d, the OSMAB Holding AG from Roesrath (North Rhine Westphalia) is planning to set up an industrial and logistics park in the freight village Frankfurt (Oder).<\/p>\n

The freight village Frankfurt (Oder) is located in the immediate vicinity to the autobahn A12 (E30) at the height of the motorway access Frankfurt (Oder)-West.<\/p>\n

In total, the company bought around 345,000 m\u00b2 (34.5 ha) from various owners. In a gradual expansion, the company will use its \u201cLogPlaza\u201d concept to develop several real estate complexes of different sizes and characteristics that will meet contemporary high quality requirements of logistics and industrial companies. Interest in the new site in Frankfurt (Oder) arose due to the ongoing need for new, easily accessible logistics real estate in the German capital city region of Berlin-Brandenburg. \u201cThe potential of the region’s workforce and the availability of appropriate land plot sizes to develop even a big box of up to 170,000 m\u00b2 were crucial for our decision to invest here<\/em>,\u201d explains Anton Mertens, Chairman of the board of OSMAB, who emphasised on the trustful process during the entire relocation process. \u201cWith the project teams in Frankfurt (Oder) we have found reliable partners with whom we plan to work successfully over the next few years. We see great potential for the economic development of Frankfurt (Oder).<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n

In total the company has purchased around 345,000 m\u00b2 (34.5 ha) of land alongside the A12 motorway at the height of the Frankfurt (Oder)-West motorway junction, roughly corresponding to the size of 70 football pitches.
