The award is regarded as the highest accolade aGerman brewery can receive. In the quality audit for beer by the German Agricultural Society (DLG) the prize winners at tained the best results nationwide. Among other aspects, purity of taste, quality of hops, fullness of \u001davour and freshness as well as stability of taste over storage time were assessed. The Frankfurter Brauhaus has been on a growth curve for some years now: In 2006 it took over the Brasserie Champigneulles brewery from France, in 2011 the Feldschl\u00f6sschen brewery in Dresden and in 2015 the traditional Gilde brewery in Hanover, which previously belonged to the US brewery group Anheuser-Busch Inbev.
