The World Trade Center for the state of Brandenburg in Frankfurt (Oder)/Slubice was founded in 1992 and is a German/Polish collaboration. It became a business division of the Investor Center Ostbrandenburg GmbH in 2005.

The World Trade Center in Frankfurt (Oder)-Slubice is a member of the World Trade Center Association in New York (WTCA) and belongs to a worldwide network of around 320 WTCs in 96 countries.
